Since dd2 was born - 15 months tomorrow I've been gradually losing weight. I've always been overweight but had reached terrifying levels and a new baby at 39 was the kick up the backside I needed. I am now pretty much the lightest I've ever been and 12 lbs from a BMI under 25. I'm a size 12 top half in most shops now and size 14 on the bottom. My body fat percentage is about 32. I'm perfectly confident I'll reach a healthy BMI in the next 6-8 weeks. Have been consistently losing about one kg a week since January. So, all good but I'm wondering if there's any way of knowing what the best weight for me would be. There seems a massive range suggested. I'm large framed and can't imagine being less than a 12 as I have broad shoulders. I want to reach a target weight and settle there without yo-yoing but how do I decide when I'm at the right place. Been doing this on my own so nobody to ask.
