ww and breastfeeding

I really need to shift some baby fat - still a stone overweight. Have done ww online before andwas on 20 points a day. How many extra points do you have if breastfeeding? - (5 b/feeds and 2 bottles a day) - you cant do online diet if bf and I dont want to join meetings (yet) as off on month long holiday. My guess would be about 26?

bump for you boompi....I think you are about right. I did WW whilst breastfeeding but cant remember exact points.

bump
Im being given conflicting advice - some say 26, others 30 and even one 32! Doing 26 and pretty hungry - but then I usually am on WW!

Am currently doing WW myself. Can't face the meetings (too much like fat fighters LOL)but pay my fiver every week to get weighed.

If you are completely BF, add 10 points to what you wouuld get anyway. If you are "supplementing the baby's diet with solids", add 5. I am down to 2 feeds a day (dd is 8 months old and I do the morning and evening feeds only) so allow myself about 22 points a day as don't feel 5 justified. When I was fully BF, I allowed myself 30.

should add that unless you are very small / very sedentary, usual points per day woudl be about 20 if you have a stone to lose.

Thank you. Doing 5 of the 7 feeds a day so reckon 27 is about right.

If you can stick to the points, I found the weight fell off if you are doing lots of BF. Now that I am hardly doing any, it is much more of a struggle...esp now that there are mince pies with my name on in the kitchen!!
