Can anyone recommend a book to inspire me to eat more healthily?

Not a diet book as such as I'm still breastfeeding - I do have over a stone to lose but need to just cut out all the comfort eating and get back into some good habits. A nice new book has given me the kick up the backside that I've needed in the past - does anyone know of a good one that might inspire me to turn over a new leaf?

Anthony Warrell Thompson's GI Cookbook is good.
Jamie, Nigella or Gary?

You could try You are what you eat by that Gillian whats-her-name off telly

This book was published before Gillian Wotsit's You Are What You Eat and is a great book in my opinion.

Natural Alternatives To Dieting might be a good one for you as well.

Excellent advice everyone, thanks. Opted for the GI book and will get the Warrell Thompson cookbook too once I've got the hang of the GI thing.

Six ways to lose a stone in six weeks.
Fantastic book - lots of recipes and info on best choices in all takeaways/sandwich shops/restaurants etc.
Really works!

Sounds v good JFS - do you think it's ok while bfing? 6 weeks is quite fast isnt it?

You probably know this, but you really shouldn't lose weight quickly while breastfeeding. Toxins in the body are stored in fat and released when you lose weight, straight into your breastmilk. Slow and steady is the idea.

I just got the Gi diet by Helen Foster and it's great!

Absolutely ISaw - that's why I was concerned about the 6 weeks idea. Last time I lost 1lb a week and that seemed to work well. Definitely doing the GI thing. Thanks all
