Dd2 is now 7 wks, and my vanity and wardrobe are keen on losing about 21lb to get back to my fighting weight.

Dd is bf, so obviously can't go too bonkers, but aiming for 1lb a week, to get into something skimpy and floaty for posh December wedding do Grin.

My plan includes the harcombe diet, davina DVDs, a massive greedy bf baby, and general harassment of having 2 dc.

I move like a wooden spoon but have a ridiculous competitive streak so feel like I'm in competition with myself to get better (sad I know!)

Davina's are normally really good, I had her old one and it was knackering

cowboylover · 14/07/2011 17:02

Well done Nursesunshine and good plan on the stats.

Being brave as would never say this out in RL but;

SW 22st 9lbs
CW 18st 11lbs
TW 15st and see how I look then...

Current excersice is walking and not much more but trying to go further each time.

NurseSunshine · 14/07/2011 17:14

Well done on your loss coyboylover That's pretty impressive Grin

HumptyDumpty1 · 14/07/2011 18:56

Cowboylover that's amazing! Well done Smile

NurseSunshine · 14/07/2011 20:00

Gah, not had a great day. Been totally exhausted and eaten loads of choc. Oh well, tomorrow is another day, eh

Junebugjr · 14/07/2011 21:41

CW- 10st 8lb
TW- 8st 10lb

I'm 5ft nothing with small bones so look better 9st and under.

Had a lovely d&v bug, plus a blocked duct verging on mastitus this week, so reckon I'm on for a good loss on Monday!

Have got zumba for the wii and it looks pretty good, when I'm back to normal can't wait to try it out. I'm not sure how exercise will fit in with the knackeredness from sleepless nights, but I'll try... Dd2 does not seem to be shaping up to be the brilliant sleeper that was dd1, gutted!

Cowboylover, that's hell of a loss, well done you.

Nothing like d&v to kick start the weight loss Junebug! How old is your dd2?

Junebugjr · 16/07/2011 16:00

Well 10st 5 on the scales this morn, so 3lb off! Hurray for d&v!

Dd2 is 8 wks now, how old is yours? We've only just managed to get her to take a bottle, which means I can now go for a run, exercise class, the toilet etc Grin. Thankfully she's a much more laidback creature than dd1, so will actually go in her bouncer and watch me and dd2 do zumba!

OP posts:
Junebugjr · 16/07/2011 16:01

dd1 I mean

NurseSunshine · 16/07/2011 16:37

Well done on your loss!

haha was going to say you're a tad over entusiastic if you've got you're 8 week old doing zumba!!
DD is 3 weeks old today. Am exclusively bfing at nthe moment but will probably start expressing soon so She can be given a bottle as well

Junebugjr · 16/07/2011 17:48

Before I was preggers with dd2, I was quite fit, running, doing interval training and a lot of weights, plus my beloved davina DVDs, so thought zumba would be a light way of getting back my fitness. Yeah right! I was knackered! Can't wait to get stuck into the weights again though, they really make a difference to body shape. Going to wait til 12 wks for that though.

I find it much easier when they do take a bottle, as at least you know you can leave them for more than a couple of hrs, which I need to do because of work despite being on maternity.

It is your first nursesunshine?

OP posts:
NurseSunshine · 16/07/2011 18:37

Yes my first.

I was also reasonably fit, lots of walking and cycling (not as fit as you sound though!) I'm just trying to build my walking up again for now and when she's a bit older I will start going swimming and to the gym.

How long is your maternity leave?

NurseSunshine · 16/07/2011 18:39

Gah I'm not being v good with my food. Not being that bad but could definately be better. Do you fancy doing "what I've eaten today" posts so we're accountable? (Only starting tomorrow!!)

RockChick1984 · 17/07/2011 15:15

I'm doing really badly so far, I last about 3 days on a diet then blow it quite spectacularly! "what I've eaten today" sounds good, if I'm brave enough!!!

Pre pregnancy weight: 10st 4lb
Weight after giving birth: 13st 7lb
Current weight: 11st 10lb

Baby is now 17 weeks so I really need to get this weight shifted! What diets are you all doing?

HumptyDumpty1 · 17/07/2011 15:37

Oh dear, what have we eaten today means no more eating 4 pieces of cake and fibbing to DH about it....Grin

NurseSunshine · 17/07/2011 18:51

I'm not really doing a diet as such Rockchick, just watching portion size and making healthier choices, trying to do more excercise.

Humpty Well techincally you could still lie to DH about it, you just must be truthful with us Grin

HumptyDumpty1 · 17/07/2011 20:17

Ahh true NurseSunshine!! He keeps saying how proud he is of me for trying so hard....(hides the crumbs) Grin

NurseSunshine · 17/07/2011 21:24

lol 'Thanks DH' Grin

HumptyDumpty1 · 17/07/2011 21:35

Hahahahaha

HumptyDumpty1 · 17/07/2011 21:36

What chocolate? ....Grin

Junebugjr · 18/07/2011 12:40

I won't put down here what I ate altogether yesterday, as I'm in fear I'll bust mumsnet down!

So far today-
2 pieces wholewheat toast with low fat spread
2 decaff teas
tomato, basil, mozzarella soup, full fat latte, full fat live yogurt.

Planning something fishy for tea, with broccoli and cheese sauce I think, followed by dark chocolate and strawberries.

Going to do some zumba too,if I feel rather bouncy later.

How we all doing?

My dp is the other way, he tries stuffing me with chocolate, as he prefers women a bit curvier. You can't win!

OP posts:
HumptyDumpty1 · 18/07/2011 16:20

Coco pops this morning (still not got over the pregnancy craving!)
Spaghetti carbonara for lunch

Far too full for tea! Might have some fruit salad later on Smile

I'll be joining you in spirit on the Zumba junebugjr!

NurseSunshine · 18/07/2011 18:15

Toast and peanut butter and an apple for brekkie
Cheese and salad sandwhich for lunch
about 5 chocolate covered brazil nuts and a little bag of yoghurt covered blueberry things
Going to have chilli for tea

Down another 2lbs from last monday Grin
SW: 11st 2lb
CW: 10st 12lbs
GW and pre pg weight: 9st

NurseSunshine · 18/07/2011 18:20

Junebug, your food sounds yummy!

HumptyDumpty1 · 18/07/2011 18:54
