About 5 weeks til hols - cut the crap lets lose weight!!

I am off on hols the last weekend in July and I am buggered if this spare tyre is coming with me! I am too lazy to count calories/faff with how many carbs are in a carrot so for the next 5 weeks my plan is simple:
Food - 3 meals a day (no bread/pasta/potato/rice but otherwise everything within reason, no second helpings!)
Drink - LOTS of water (and less booze!)
Exercise - 30 min DVD every day plus 3 x 50 situps every day (problem area - flabby tummy)
Beautifulness quest - body brush/exfoliate every day

I am going to add to my beautifulness quest each week so this week body brushing (to help banish that cellulite and have lovely soft skin) Next week i'll add something to deal with my scaly old feet etc.

I am pretty sure this plan will enable me to lose around a stone, tone up and have a wonderful holiday without devoting my life to calorie counting and my salary to gym membership. If I was rich/famous I would ship in Tracey Anderson and keep her in the under stairs cupboard for a month...but i;m not...so this is it!

Please do join me on my "method" but only if you reall, really mean it - I am very serious about this

How long do you run for?

Gotta have that Wine on a Friday evening. A right of passage into the weekend.....

Anyway, I'm getting MYSELF into the best possible shape I can (realistically) be for the hols, NOT aiming to shape shift into Elle McPhearson!!! Grin

Okay, count me in. Started 30-day shred this morning. I really just need to eat minimal carbs, no seconds, and do 30-day shred every day + gym a few times a week. I go away mid-August and want to shift a stone before then.

misskitty i do 5k in about 30mins and yes me too, I just want to be at my best too.

Hello bythesea how did the Shred go? I started that once and did about 10 days but got a bit bored with it. I like variety so i've got a few DVDs to choose from and I like getting outside to exercise instead Grin

I'm a bit achy today but enjoying the sunshine - BBQ later - fresh mackerel Mmmmm Grin

majorcacaca - the shred went well. I feel fine so far. I got sweaty, but was able to keep up with level one without stopping at all. I'm doing a body pump class and a bit of cardio in the morning so may skip the shred tomorrow but will do it first thing every morning next week. I had a knew injury and then a kidney infection so haven't been to the gym for a bit more than a month.

We had a bbq tonight, but I went really light on carbs, just a little cous cous and a mini corn on the cob.

Not exercising today - my neck is a bit sore (due to drunken dancing about last night Blush) Feel very munchy but am keeping a lid on it so should be an OK day foodwise - so sunny too!!

Right...weekend over - too much wine but food ok so not a disaster! Back to it today with a dvd and a blitz of house cleaning - joy!

Hello all,

Managed to break the 10 stone mark for the first time since March this weekend :) Feeling positive and determined to lose again this week. 6 weeks to go until bikini season!
