What can I do about my stomach????

I'm fed up. Last year I lost nearly 4 stone through damn hard work - I went from a size 18 to size 12 and got really fit as well.

A year later, I'm the same weight as I was after losing all my weight - I'm half way through my 30-day shred, doing a 5k run next week, but I still have a huge pot belly.

I've gone from looking like a fat person who's 4 months pregnant, to a thin person who's 4 months pregnant - even worse if I'm a bit bloated. It's not even a "neat" pot belly - it's bloody huge going from right under my boobs to the waistband of my trousers. I've had two kids and yes it's been worse since then, but I've always had a bit pot-belly all my life.

Generally I don't eat food that bloats me, I have pretty toned muscles underneath a reasonable ( but not massive) layer of flab on my stomach. It's just the whole damn thing that sticks out. I have quite an accentuated s-curve to my back which I don't think helps, but even still - I must be able to do something.

Any ideas? Is it a tummy tuck or nothing?

3 things I can think of:

a) stomach muscles didn't mesh together properly after pregnancy - something to discuss with GP / gym instructor
b) a diet without any refined carbs can help stomach fat - read the south beach diet book he talks about this...
c) what is your body fat %? if over 25% may be that you are still carrying some excess fat and you store it on your stomach rather than thighs or boobs, only solution then is to loose more weight.
