Love handles or whatever it's called hanging over my backside? Am eating less and exercising more and wondered if there's anything I can do specific for lower back fat? Tia.

How much do you weigh and what is your BMI?

I weigh 10 stone or did last time I weighed myself but ds has broken the scales now. Bmi I think is 24 or 25. I'm 5 foot 2.

At 5 foot 2 and 10 stone, BMI is 25.65.

We all carry excess fat in different places (me on thighs), and as discussed on another thread here, doesn't seem to be much you can do about targeted weight loss - keep on exercising and get your BMI down to around 22.5 you should find that the love handles have disappeared.

HOWEVER Stomachs seem to respond well to low carb no sugar diets so that might help lower back too.
