I have about 16-18lbs still to lose after dc2 (who is nearly 2!). Have been running for last 4 weeks (4-5 times a week) and did 10km this week. Have signed up to myfitnesspal.com and am do running with runkeeper which is great. 30 day shred arriving tomorrow as is Davini DVD. Doing Zumba v occasionally too and going to gym. The weight is not shifting but shape is changing a bit...v slowly....got bloods all checked and all were fine too. I know it will prob start to go but feeling bit disheartened by the lack of progress. Been on diet etc since Jan now and only in last 3 weeks have I lost a pound!!!

Hi Ruth, Well done on the exercise but v frustrating on the lack of weight loss - very impressed you've been able to maintain the diet/exercise without seeing a loss.

Maybe we can all help you, esp with weight loss - can you let us know exactly what you are eating?

last week prob better as not finishing kids meals! poached egg/small slice toast breakfast, tuna salad lunch/morrocan lamb/couscous with salad dinner...now cutting down wine and logging everything on myfitnesspal which has been an eyopener! kids bad sleepers so had bad habit of eating during night that have tried to stop but sometimes just so so so tired!!!

Ruth - it depends on portion size but food sounds ok but comments - make sure bread is granary or other low GI eg burgen soya and linseed, generally I wouldn't eat lamb if trying to loose weight as very fatty and hence calorific although ok if portion size quite small, and make sure you have protein with each meal so salad and coucous could be improved by switching half the couscous for some salmon/tuna. Alcohol calorific and so don't think drinking any goes well with weight loss esp if the loss is stubborn. Logging on MFP is a good idea, certain helped me.
