My In-Laws came around yesterday, and we haven't seen them since before easter, so they came laden with gifts - of the chocolate kind!!!

They did however bring my daughter some clothes too, as they didn't think she should have too much chocolate!!!

Does anyone else feel like their family doesn't halp at all in their quest for weight loss - and practically discourages you by putting temptation in front of you at every possible opportunity?

I know I don't have to eat the chocolate, and i too didn't get my daughter much choclate for Easter, but it's the principal!

I bought them plants for easter, as I know everyone gets too much chocolate - next time, I'll just buy them eggs too - the biggest i can find!!!!

I really feel like it's so much harder without support, and do not understand why they don't want to help me!

Can your DH not eat it?

If they know you are on a diet its extremely thoughtless, and TBH with a gift of this sort I'd be inclined to get DH to have a word on how you need support and not temptation.

That being said, if you want to loose the weight and keep it off best to become comfortable being around chocolate. How about weighing out 10g each night? Or just deciding that you wont eat any|

Hiya,
Yes, my dh will probably end up eating it!
I do have pretty good will power, and having thought about this since posting, I think I can make this into a positive - they are making me even more determined to show them I can do it!!!
