This was a cheapy punt as propoints just weren't working for me. Seems quite restrictive...I dont understand how you are meant to do the days in order but you can swap meals out for alternatives from the lists. And I have just put in a supermarket order for food for over £50....for a week for just me...!

I think it is low carb as I have a splitting headache and need to pee every 15 minutes! She says this will pass. I hope so.

Of course, I am obsessed by food. Grin

Anyone else?

What sort of foods are you eating?

I'm on day one of my DIY-I-want-to-lose-that-last-bit-of-belly diet. I lost 3 and a half stone last year, but I still look slightly pregnant (just a thin pregnant person rather than a fat pregnant person).

Hoping to lose 12lbs by September for my best friend's wedding.

I'm trying to low carb, with eating grapefruit, protein shakes, home made low calorie soups and veg stir fry during the day, and then a small portion of the family evening meal in the evening.

Hopefully now that easter is over I can not eat so much chocolate, although I still have a couple of easter eggs left!

today was porridge first, grapes for snack, baked potato filled wth tomato and chickpea mixture for lunch, oatcakes and hummus for snack, salmon and salad for dinner...

Haven't heard of this diet but don't think it can be low carb with the foods you are describing. Good luck! I look forward to hearing how you get on.

For those that haven't heard of it http://www.amandahamiltonweightloss.co.uk/

I signed up for this after seeing it advertised on KGB deals for £12 - saving around £35 so thought it may be just what I need to get motivated again. It reminds me of the Carol Vorderman detox - basically eating lots of fruit and veg over five meals a day. She does allow some meat or fish however I'm veggie so am also allowed small portions of cheese it seems - hurraah! I'm only on day 2 but I know from past experience that its a style of eating that works really well for me in terms of health and weightloss so hoping I can just stick to it!

Interestingly I also signed up to WW pro points a few weeks ago and just can't get on with it - far too restrictive for my liking with what seems like endless weighing. Clearly it too would work if I stuck to it I'm sure, but its not a plan I found very easy to slot into my life.

Good luck Bookswapper!

Day 3 and lets just say I have some gastric discomfort! Headache lessened though.

Is this not low carb then? You are not allowed bread or pasta and only 2 oatcakes as a serving or a small potato. There is certainly a lot of fruit and veg and beans...lord the beans. Grin I only eat fish not meat or chicken so i am actually quite happy with her recipes so far.

I have found though that instead of splitting the meals into 2 or 6 I am scoffing the lot without really realising!

Do you think I can eat quorn in place of the chicken in the chicken, mozz salad on day 4, tootiepie?

I can have some wine at the weekend but instead would love a cold diet coke!
