Will bootcamp workouts be worth the money?

I am thinking about signing up to a bootcamp style workout. The idea of having someone making me do it is appealing as I am appaliing at pushing myself.

Does anyone have nay experience or is it pretty much the same as a personal trainer at the gym?

they are brilliant, my friends fiance is a british military fitness instructor so i've been to a few but not regularly as i go to the gym. But i like that rain or shine sessions take place. There's plenty of variety, as they are outdoors your using the environment as your equipment. You have someone there pushing you to make the most of your session and they are in groups so you aren't going through it alone.

we have some great outdoor spaces nearby and I have seen a few of these going on and always wondered what they are.

I am massively unfit though and abotu 3 stone overweight will it still be ok do you think?

oh god yerr you'll be fine these classes really are for everyone and the ones i've been to there have been a really good mix of people from those that were training for marathons, to people that just want to stay fit to complete beginners that haven't really done exercise since school! The British Military FItness classes were the first to set up these sessions and where I live there are 2 other companies doing a similar thing. From what i've seen and experienced withing the class the group is split into 2/3 smaller groups according to your fitness level so once you've warmed up etc your working with people more of your own level.
