Finally admitted to myself that I have an unhealthy obsession with pasta, rice, potato, pastries etc etc. I purchased the Dukan book but realise that I need to be realistic in my approach to trying to shift this extra weight im carrying around.

I cant cut out the pasta, rice etc so need to change the ways in which I eat it - I alwys go for the stodgy white type,

Please recommend a book that will help me sort my chubby body out. Its actually making me feel a bit miserable.

Either Holford diet book:
holdford

Or southbeach diet book:
beach

Neither is just low GI but both advocate low GI eating and very sensible.

I've just been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and have been advised that a low GI diet is recommended for sufferers. I've bought this book which has quite a few tasty recipes in it.

I highly recommend the sweetcorn & sweet potato soup!
