Hi!

I have a 7.5 month old DD and I slowly I have lost about 1.5 stones, despite eating everything that is bad for me. I do however have a 2.4yr old toddler who keeps me active, so I guess I'm losing the weight cos of runnign around after him!

I still have a stone to lose though to get back to my pre DD weight. I lost all 2.5 stones and more within 5 months of giving birth to DS. So this time around it's much slower.

I'm still almost exclusively breastfeeding as DD is BLW and hardly eating anything yet.

i want to lose about a pound a week so I am back to my prepreg weight by July when I go back to work.

Anyone fancy joining me??

greentig3r · 29/03/2011 14:32

choceyes, I'm with you! DD is 19weeks and EBF.

pinkyp- I'm about the same as you, over 12 stone now and trying to get back to 10 stone.

Have started walking one evening a week after DP gets in from work. Before morning sickness kicked in, I was swimming before work 2-4 mornings a week or running in evenings. My plan is to lose a bit through swimming and walking before I start running again. Thinking about enrolling in a pilates class.

I'll join! Great thread :)

DS is 7 weeks tomorrow, and I'm have 1.5 stones to lose. That will put me above pre-pregnancy weight but should be a safe size 8. Tbh I don't need to be that skinny again. I'd hope to be there by mid-July when we go on holiday.

So far, I've just been eating healthily. I've also been walking quite a bit with DS, but I need to build muscle and tone. I have a stepper machine (argh!) and want to try something new - any suggestions? Maybe I'll take DS swimming ...

What kind of things are people eating? Is it possible to lo-carb while breasfeeding?

CJMommy · 30/03/2011 22:30

Don't know about low carb but have decided that on the 3 days DS is in nursery (wether permitting, we will walk there and back. also thinking of starting to swim regularly too.

Well i've took on some more territory with avon now the weathers picking up so that should get me out and about walking, hopfully earning some extra £ to buy slimmer clothes....:/

Hi ladies, I'd love to join! My DD is 7 weeks old and my older DD 2 years and one month. I have about 2 stone to lose and am planning to do it by trying to eat sensibly and walking.

My DP has recently stopped eating sugary things and even though I haven't been as good as him, my intake of chocolate, cookies etc has gone right down. I've been buying my favourite dark choc & enjoying a couple of pieces of it every now and again, happy not to have DP there going "I don't really like dark chocolate but can I have some"? And then eating most of it.
