I'm not losing a lot of weight with WW either. I've been on it about 9/10 weeks now and have lost 5lbs!! I had lost 7lbs but I've tried using all my weeklies to see if that makes a difference but put 2lbs on. Hmm I've now bought some new scales so I can see if I've even lost 0.5lbs and they say my daily calorie intake should only be 1350 to maintain my current weight. So I don't know what to do really.

LindaLaPlumeDeMaTente · 25/03/2011 16:40

Dont bother with weight watchers

the only ones who win are..Weight watchers

foreverondiet · 25/03/2011 16:44

chicguapa try myfitnesspal - its free and estimates what you should loose based on what you eat and how much exercise, seems to be quite accurate. I once looked at weightwatchers, but seemed expensive...

chicaguapa · 25/03/2011 17:14

Thanks forever. I've downloaded it onto my iPhone. :)
Sorry if I've hijacked the thread. Blush

chicaguapa · 25/03/2011 22:37

According to myfitnesspal I've eaten 800 too many calories today but WW says I've eaten the right number of points. Hmm

foreverondiet · 26/03/2011 20:53

chicguapa 800 calories Shock wow, I am guessing that means you ate around 2000, as I would guess that myfitnesspal would allow you at least 1200.

I am v impressed that WW works at all for anyone if you can eat 2000 calories a day and still loose weight.... I mean is that not roughly what an average weight female is supposed to eat to maintain??

Before I used myfitnesspal I used tesco diets, they have "totals" which I thought similar to WW points... I got 15 a day, which if I ate healthy balanced meals was roughly 1200 calories a day. Lost consistently 2lbs every week - got impatient when reached a mini plateau after 2 stone though....

DuplicitousBitch · 26/03/2011 20:56

i have lost a stone since january on ww but i try not to eat my weeklies

hmc · 26/03/2011 21:00

That's patently not the case LindaLaPlume - most of us on the propoints thread have shifted a whole stack of weight on WW.

Dontdillydally - are you sure you are weighing, measuring and tracking everything?

Also you may be a 'two week loser' - I went through a bit of a phase of this i.e. one week I would sts, the next I would lose 5 lb, the following week I would sts again and the subsequent week a further 4lb etc. You might be in for a corker of a loss next week so keep the faith!

dontdillydally · 26/03/2011 21:37

yes Im keeping up the faith, but its very demorilising 2nd week in and sts.

Im tracking, but not really measuring so doing this this week.
