Going to a wedding in just under 3 weeks and have found the perfect dress, apart from it is too tight (dress size 14).

So i need a plan to lose as much as poss in 3 weeks but trying to stay healthy.

I am thinking porriage for breakfast and lunch and a healthy dinner, ie bake potatoe and salad, veg sir fry, casserole etc. And fruit for snacks.

Im planning on doing zumba on wednesdays, aqua arobics on mondays and the gym on friday.

Any advise?

Your suggested diet is very high in carbs.

Try porridge for breakfast, cottage cheese or tuna salad for lunch, low fat yoghurts or fruit for snacks and grilled chicken and steamed veggies for dinner.

But if you want to loose weight very quickly (most of us lost 5-7lbs in first week) try dukan.

Basically first week only eat lean protein - including lean cuts of poultry, beef, eggs (up to 2 a day), fat free diary, fish. Also have 2 tablespoons a day of oatbran.

In weeks 2 and 3, you have have vegetables as well every 2nd day.

Thanks for the reply, i will look up Dukan when LO is in bed.

Does anyone have any food suggestions for vegitarians on this diet. I can have the low fat diary but any tasty ways of eating quorn/tofu/bean/pulses on this diet?

mmm, dukan not ideal for vegetarians - perhaps go for south beach instead where pulses and vegetables allowed as well...

If you have 3 weeks then go for 3 weeks on induction phase of south beach...

Basically eat nothing but non starchy veggies/pulses/tofu/fat free dairy/eggs/quorn..... make sure you have protein at each meal.

Thanks for your help.
I have decided to stick to my poriage for breakfast, have salad with either quorn or cottage cheese for lunch and a low carb, low fat dinner, with low fat yougats or fruit for snack.
I have found a list of low carb veg which will help me make my dinners.
Thanks
