Weight loss help available from NHS?

Is it possible to get 'gym' or 'weight loss class' on prescription? I have yet to find a helpful GP, so am figuring if I know what to ask for, I may have more success. I do not want surgery or drugs, just help and support. Thank you.

You can do WW through the NHS, they give you a 3 month pass.

You can also get SW passes too.

Gets better HowToLookGood I must admit I prefer the look of SW.

Is it down to the GP or a national thing? I am in Scotland.
