Ive joined Weightwatchers this morning in a bid to shift the weight. However, before I went I weighed myself on my own calibrated bathroom scales and it gave me my weight. At WW I weighed half a stone heavier. . My friend who was also at the meeting said she weighs half a stone heavier at WW too. Do they "fix" the scales?

Hi skinnycow - no they don't - apparently they are the most accurate scales going, even better than the doctors. My ww scales show 2lb heavier than mine at home.
Well done on joining up, there is a thread on the go at the moment, where people from ww chat and share ideas, feel free to drop in!

Hello there, to answer your quesion yes they do weigh you a half stone heavier in weight watchers when you first join. Very misleading isn't it. They must be stuck for members when they do that to people. Not very honest!
