I have lost about a stone on the P2T plan but have got a bit fed up of not being able to eat what DH has and all the shopping.

I am having a crap week and are due on and just feel hungry all the time.

Poo.

Hi, i am low-carbing too and I have the IPD cookbook which was worth every penny- i base our weekly meal plans round that now so DH has what i make for both of us with extra potatoes/noodles rice if necessary- but so many of the meals are so filling anyway he hasnt needed it. Eg celeriac is used as substitute for potato.

This week I have had:

fish and ratatouille sauce (DH had new pots as well)
Pad thai (DH had noodles as well)
sausage pie- sausage in a cheese and leek sauce topped with celeriac (DH didnt need anyhting else)
chicken tikka masala- with bean sporuts for me and rice for DH
burgers and cheese and bacon- with celeriac chips- yum!

What is DH eating that you miss? are you meal planning? that will make shoppig so much easier.

And i completely forgot to say- WELL DONE on losing a stone! That is fab and you should be proud of what you've achieved so far.

What is IPD?

I wasn't missing anything but I just got fed up of the extra work as one meal for the kids when they got in from school then another for dh and another for me later. I love cooking but even I had had enough of it all after 3 months of doing it.

Its Neris & India's Idiot Proof diet. I am following this and dont cook separate meals i just do extra potatoes, rice or pasta fro DH.

Oh, that is what I was following but I need to look at it again as I can feel my weight might go back on. DH did have some of the meals but then I got out of the habit of following the book.
