Best easy to follow diet

I would like to lose a stone before summer. I exercise fairly regularly but my downfall is snacking. I don't want a faddy diet and I also don't want to be preparing one meal for me and one for the rest of the family. I need a healthy diet where I feel full and don't need to snack or crave food. I've just read Tosca Reno's 'Eat clean diet' but it involves eating things I have never even heard of let alone know where to buy!

Is it possible to lose weight without taking extreme measures.

Oh and I would also prefer not to hAve to join WW or Slimming World as I can't really afford it.

Any diet recommendations? Is there a diet that gives you meal plans as well as recipes?

It all seems so complicated!

Thank you. X

Cut out the rubbish. Snack on apples/carrots.
Reduce your portion sizes.
Choose low GI options when possible.

Log every morsel you eat etc into food focus/myfitness pal. Stick to daily calorie limits.

If you need meal plans buy the Rosemary Coneley GI hip and thigh diet book loads of good meal plans and recipies - all stuff rest of family can eat.

Thank you foreverondiet. I've followed rosemary connelly before with success so i will check out thst book. What i don't want to do is live on carrot sticks and slim a soup as as soon as I eat 'normal' food the weight goes back on again. I find following a meal plan easy as when i devise my own, i tend to stray (no willpower!).
