Weight loss and Implant... is anyone else struggling???

Hello.. I know this is probably the wrong place but I was wondering if anyone else is struggling to loose weight as I am after having the implant put in. I was doing really well up until then. I need to loose two stone but have already lost 7lbs, really slowly....

Help I need some inspriational stories to encourage me that its in my head and that I can continue to loose weight.

Yes! not me but my sister put on weight with the implant put in - she had it taken out for that reason! Sorry thats not very inspirational at all

I have a mirena and have had no problem loosing weight, am very disciplined though. I think the mirena and implant increase appetite...

Yes me.......I had the implant put in and my weight loss stopped altogether, was doing very well up until then, might have it taken out...........

Mirena is meant to have no impact on your diet but implant

I'm on the injection as not wanting something too long lasting in case we decide ttc dc4. I'm sure it increases appetite too but it isn't stopping me from losing. I'm about halfway there on a 9 stone total loss. Whenever I plateau I just look at my eating very carefully to see where I can cut down further and make plans to increase my exercise. Need to exercise more this week than I did last. I don't know if I'd be losing quicker if I was on the injection but I know getting pg again before I'm a healthy weight would be a disaster. I barely coped last time and this time I have dd to look after!
