hi all I wonder if you could please help me. Every Monday my diet starts, I am trying to do healthy eating, exercise and treats in moderation. This all goes to plan at the beginning of the week but come thursday or friday I start gorging on sweet stuff and crisps. I cant reason with myself. All this weekend I have just been a chocolate monster. I just want to loose half a stone and have a healthy eating attitude to encourage my dds. Any tips will be gratefully received. Thank you

i am a dreadful grazer - i am eating sensibly during the days salads etc - fruit - no snacks and whatever everyone else is having for tea - but a smaller than usual portion.
Also as i eat eat eat on a night i have joined an aquaaerobics class anda zumba class. i figure anything that gets me out of the house is a bonus.i am stilll having my friday night treat,

a great tip is to set aside a day or two a week when you allow yourself to eat less well (so chocolate / crisps etc). for me this is the weekend. it can actually help weight loss because it keeps your metabolism up apparently.

so i'm really good in the week which i find easier as i am at work and so the day is more structured. then i allow myself treats on one or both weekend days.

this will make you feel less of a failure and less likely to throw the towel in.

i have lost half a stone and am now at my target weight doing this along with exercise over three months. not a rapid weight loss but slow and sustainable i feel.
