need to lose 7-14 pounds in 6 weeks - can i just cut out carbs??!!!! help please

if i have a fruit breakfast, salad plus x for lunch and stir fry veggies for supper, will that work?

can i just cut out breads, pizzas,cakes, buns etc???

what about dairy?

i need to shift this weight fast, but i cant follow a complex program, just need something uber-simple!

help!

I managed to lose 13lb in 4 weeks once, but only by dong very strict atkins.

No fruit, basically meat, eggs, cheese, fish and dark green veg. Nothing processed, and obviously no bread/pasta/rice etc.

Definitely drink plenty of water each day and cut out the booze (if you drink).

I don't know why but drinking loads of water certainly seems to help lose weight.

Can I be nosy and ask why you need to lose weight so fast?

Try dukan, should be able to loose that amount plus more in 6 weeks. Many people on the dukan thread lost that in the first week. I lost 5lbs in one week and that was after being on a low calories diet for 3 months.

If thats too complex then:

  • no fruit
  • no starchy veggies (like carrots, parnsips, celeriac)
  • no pasta, oats, bread, rice etc
  • protein at every meal
  • drink loads of water
  • don't drink any calories (ie booze, juice)

Dairy contains carbs (lactose) so its out as well.

I lose 7 pounds in 2 weeks if I stick strictly to Rosemary Conolly's GI Jeans diet. Find if I follow it to the letter I don't even get hungry/feel deprived, but do need to make sure you have everything that's allowed.
