WLR or food focus?

I am fed up of being a fatty so want to count calories (no need to convince me to do something else as I am set on this for now Wink). I have used Weight Loss Resources before which was very good but had to pay. I see Food Focus does a similar thing for free. Any opinions on which is best?

Not used Weight Loss Resources but Food Focus is the business and helped me lose over a stone and a half last year - its still off, but I'm thinking I'll start again soon to try and lose another few sizes before the Summer. I posted here a lot last year about it. Good Luck.

oooh. Fabulous treacletart and a big well done. I am going to search for your posts.

foreverondiet - I will have a look at those. My size 14 skirt is straining. Not good.

I used Food Focus initially 2 years ago and it was good...but there were a few technical difficulties which resulted in it going offline for days on end which, when trying to count daily calories, rendered it pretty useless.

I switched to WLR then and was happy to pay the £10 per month as it meant it was guaranteed to be available every day and it was still cheaper than going to Weight Watchers. I lost 3 1/2 stone using it so was very [happy]

I still use WLR now as have put a stone back on (which was completely my fault and nothing to do with WLR Wink)

I was on the FF threads around the same time as Treacletart. I lost 2 stone on it - that and Couch25K.

I would recommend both.

FWIW I have been using tesco diets totals plan... I didn't realise there were freebie versions and I got a good deal signing up for 6 months (£37).

Subscription is up in April and I am leaning towards myfitnesspal as they are developing a blackberry app.

Grin well done to you all. I think I will try FF as its free and then consider WLR if there are issues highlighted by ceebeegeebies.

Any tips for success?
