I have been doing SW Recently, quite happy with it andd had some good losses.
The trouble Im finding is that the groups are quite badly run, turned up a couple of weeks ago to be told our consultant had resigned, then our group was moved to another venue but no consultant was available and nobody had been informed!

Cue a group of SWers stood in the cold and dark last Thursday evening!

I have done WW before and had good results with it too, was just wondering what the new Pro Points plan is all about and what its diffences are to the old plan?

TIA

right

scrap all you know about old ww (which made my brain hurt as i know old ww so well)

new ww pp is totally different

everyone gets 29 or more pp a day (depending on age, weight+height) as well as 49 weekies

all foods are pointed, and the new ww has worked out that protein keeps you full for longer and that carbs dont fill you up for so long

the idea is to eat 3 healthy pointed meals a day and snack on fruit inbewteen meals

all fruit is free, tho say dont eat more than 5 portions a day and no more than one banana

all veg are free except potato/parsnip/peas and sweetcorn (tho baby corn is free)

then use your weekies if you want for either a treat every day (7pp) or throughout the week for a meal out etc

or thats my take on ww pp :)

So its swaying more to the SW way of eating then, although if you are on a SW green all the carbs are free...

Hmm, not sure which would be best really in the long run, I like the fact with SW there is no counting or measuring, but its awkward for eating on the go, sandwhiches etc.

Will have to see if anyone turns up for this weeks meeting and go from there I think.

Thanks for explaining it for me!
