any quick weight loss to give me a boost?

perhaps some detox or other (no longer than a week) just so i can see some results and it will spur me on to stick to a proper diet? when i diet i always seem to put weight on for the first week/two weeks so i panic and give up. has anyone got any good ideas for me?

I did the Scarsdale diet - you follow it for 2 weeks, then are meant to adhere to the principles after that. Go back on to the strict 2 weeks then if you need to. I followed it for 2 weeks and lost 10lb, have since lost 2 1/2 stone (and it's stayed off)
Put 'Scarsdale Diet into Google and there are links to the whole book online

drink more water! - 2-3 litres per day. It'll get your bowels moving better and so flush out any toxins. Plus your body will not "hold" water if you drink more of it so you will get rid of any fluid retention into the bargain - therefore losing weight through better bowel activity and excess fluid - bargain!

ps - drink more water consistently over AT LEAST a week to see the benefit - and no fizzy water either!!
