hi there - i am thinking of joining slimming world - do they sell lots of their own products in meetings like WW do? And do they sell cookbooks and gadgets? I don't know much about slimming world at all and wondered what tools they sell to help? thanks

I went to Slimming World about six years ago. I found it fantastically helpful and it changed my eating habits for good. When I went they sold a few food ranges...bran biscuits and the like and also really good recipe books. I still use them now. The basic premise of the diet can be a little confusing at first, but there are guidebooks to help explain it. Once you've cottoned on though, it's very easy to follow as there is no measuring or calorie counting involved. Instead, they focus on what you can eat in unlimited quantities. Less deprivation...more habit changing. I'd highly recommend.

Yes, they sell a great range of recipe books, their magazine, cereal bars...but the whole premise of slimming world is eating normal foods, changing your eating habits for good so they don't make their own brand of ready meals or anything like that. Cooking from scratch. I love it.
