Post baby muffin-top - what to do?

IS thre anything I can do to elliminate / reduce a post-baby muffin top? I had DS 11 months ago but I still look about 4 months PG with the lovely tummy flap!

Will sit-ups help, or is it here to stay? I have lost all my baby weight btw, I just would like to get my old shape back too!

I think sit ups on their own won't do a lot, general cardio vascular fat burning exercises and stomach toning exercises. Even fast walking regular pushing ds

I am thinking of getting the shred dvd that is raved about on here 9 my ds is 7 Blush

Good luck

I am in exactly the same position a you. I have started Pilates once a week and walking 3 times a week. Starting to see some improvements...although probably still have a muffin bottom as well as a muffin top..

More sex?

I am doing the south beach diet and he claims that you loose all your stomach fat on it. Otherwise pilates, planks, and sit ups?

Thanks all, some good suggestions!

I've ordered the DVD, although it looks like it may kill me!

I do try and walk a few miles each week with DS in the pushchair, and I used to do a lot of yoga when I had time, but DS has rather put pay to that - I might try and find time for it again.

JiltedJohnsJulie - given a spare half hour in bed, I will opt for sleep over sex every time! (Much to DH's annoyance I'm sure!)
