a beginners running programme

i downloaded the podcasts from NHS website....its over 9 weeks and gets you running 30 mins, starting with run a bit, walk a bit.....i've lost weight and there was a difference in fitness almost immediately

try it....nothing to lose is there....well,except a bit of weight maybeGrin

Hi MoaningMedalllist and welcome!

I have been on a diet since October when I weaned DS2 onto food and formula at 6 months. Have lost 2.5 stone so far. Another half stone to go. Am doing tescodiets, which is a bit like weightwatchers, now have changed onto low carbs as hit a plateau. after 2 stone.

My tips:

a) keep on trying on your thin clothes to motivate you
b) change the diet if you hit plateau and do something different
c) I like wii ea sports active, don't have to go to gym to get fit can use wii or dvd at home.
d) I think that the pill/implants just make it a bit harder as they increase appetite rather than actually make you fat, just need to be aware of that.
