I have now lost one stone,3 pounds.

I'm really pleased with this,it's been hard work but am now starting to see the changes in my figure, clothes getting too big etc...

The only problem is i am always sooo very cold,i wear lots of layers and put heating on if i still can't warm up but even then i'm still cold? will i get used to this? anyone else found this when they've lost some weight or am a just weird!!

Well done refmum (do you know the 'offside rule'!) for losing the weight.
I lost a lot of weight last year, 5 stones, and I am always cold now. I wear socks and thick pajamas in bed and at least 4 layers around the house. When I go out it's even worse. Gloves, hat and scarf. Even when it's not really that cold.
Sorry , but it's something I can't get used to but I do like being slimmer so it's worth it!

Get your thyroid checked?

I've lost about 40lbs and I'm always cold too (I still have lots of "padding" though). I have to wear two fleeced jumpers at home!

No,don't know anything about footie!! I'm a refmum because i have 4 sons and sometimes feel like more of a ref than a mum in my house!

I've had my thyroid checked,it's fine, guess it's just because there's less padding now to keep me insulated!

I got an electric blanket for christmas, best present i've ever had Smile

I also drink lots of hot coffee (decaffeinated because I BF, no milk or sugar). It does keep me warm for a while.

I have always been very slim and the only time I'm ever truly warm is in the middle of summer or when pregnant!
I swear by thermal socks (they don't need to be expensive) and always wearing a vest! (preferably a pretty one but thermal ones aren't always that attractive!) Smile
