OK, I am considering going back on Weight Watchers. The thing is, I never knew what to have for lunch. Can I ask you guys what you have? I just need some ideas.

Thanks very much!

I have something like:
zero-point soup (ie veg soup with no cream etc!) plus
pitta, salad, 1 tbsp reduced fat houmous
or tuna light lunch plus yogurt and fruit
sometimes a light sandwich from sainsburys if working eg roast chicken salad (be good to yourself)
hope that helps!

Are you at work or at home? Do you have access to microwave?

I have been eating quite a lot of noodle-y salads and coleslaw-y type stuff for lunch lately. I have it hot in the evening, and then take it cold for lunch the next day. Got some nice recipes if you want them?

I'm going back on WW next week but see they have changed the points system. Can anyone explain how it works? Also can you track yourself online for free if you're already paying to go to meetings??

Was so used to the old system!!

Pot noodle have just bought out a small 'noodles in mug' range. They are similar to pot shots but half the points. They're vile on they're own, but I've found if I add loads of mushrooms, cherry tomatos and shredded chicken breast to them, they make quite a big nice lunch. Think with the added chicken etc it's about 7 pro points.
Also another vote for soup here. And tesco mini pizzas with tomato and mushroom added on top. Also 7 points.

I've found The secret is adding lots of zero point bulk!

Littleharrysmum, the points are now based mostly on protein and carbs, rather than calories and saturated fat. It's the same basic idea of counting a number of points per day. Your daily allowance is higher than before, but then so are the points in most of the foods!
Instead of saving up points yourself, you now have a weekly allowance, which is on top of your daily one. You can allocate it out as u wish. Ie: decide whether to use a few a day or save them all for the weekend.

Hope that made a bit of sense! I have found it good so far, and I'm another long term weight watcher! Good luck! Grin

Home made 0 point or thereabouts soup with 3 rice cakes (1 point!) pretty much every day! Boring but it allows me more points for wine dinner.
