Think its possible to get the same results following a 600 kcal a day diet?

DOnt see why not...

I'm sure it would be....but it would be extremely difficult for you to carry it through as you would feel very hungry (due to not being in ketosis) Also, you would need to be very careful that you were getting all your minerals, vitamins and necessary trace elements from whatever you ate...or by taking supplements.

not sure to be honest.
i did lighterlife for a while and had to stop for a couple of reasons, one of them being cost and followed the slimfast diet the same as i would have lighter life and took a multivit as well. but someone said about the carbs in slim fast being more than lighterlife, but when i checked the packets there wasn't a great deal of difference, i think the main thing is lighterlife is aimed at people who are classed as morbidly obese wheras slim fast is a product that you can buy off the shelf in any supermarket and so they state for legal reasons that it isn't a full diet.

to be honest i felt more full on slim fast and continued witht eh water drinking (about 4 1/2 litres a day) and the weight loss was good. but i am sure that the long term effects of both of these diets isn't very good.

oh and with regards to ketosis, i tested myslef on slimfast and was in ketosis.

basically i think a lot of dieting has to do with willpower and your mind set and if you are determined to lose weight you will with whichever diet you choose.
