I really need to get cracking and start it. I have all the stuff from years ago, has anything dramatically changed?

I prefer it to the old one, but then I really didn't like the old one, it didn't work for me as I got too hungry. Now i can eat more protein it's working

wizzler · 21/01/2011 17:22

Its certainly easier for me; fruit and most veg is "free", so every time I get hungry I woof a banana or an apple. How effective it is remains to be seen. So far I have lost 3.5lbs in 2 weeks, and its looking good for the next weigh in! Smile

Bearing in mind I had been doing the old WW for a while, I started on Propoints and lost 5lb in the first week!

Tis easier and you can eat all fruit without counting it so today I ate a full tin of fruit salad Blush

So, do I need to join then or could I do it myself?

Ive started on the old one this week because I still have the wheel, wont I need that anymore?

Kittya,

I'm on the new plan and have lost 10lbs in 2 weeks, I find it so much easier than last time as the plan is more workable. You would need to get the new paperwork and stuff, its now worked on protein, carbs, fibre and fat rather than cals and sat fat so there is a new wheel to use and you will get more points to use daily and also 49 weekly points as well.

I'm really enjoying it and it makes more sense to me!

gosh, sounds like I need to find one!! is it worth doing online or too much faffing?

I've never done WW before but when I looked the other day, there were a lot of people grumbling about it on the forum of their site

sparkle101 · 25/01/2011 12:40

I go to a meeting and enjoy it. Online is great too. A lot of people on the weight watchers forumm are complaining as they can't get their heads round the new plan, that somethings they couldn't have they now can and vice versa, you need to literally leave everything you have learnt and start afresh, and track everything! A lot of the forum members aren't following it to plan so not losing as much.

Have a look at the weight watchers thread in this topic and you'll see loads of people who are losing weight on it.
