Hi everyone, seeking some advice pleese!

I started doing shred about 10 days ago. Started very unfit, 5,7 about 13 stone (don't dare to weigh!) Only exercise i have done for years is dog walking......I have only been doing it every 2/3 days due to 20 week DS naps being sporadic! It has been a bit of a killer but not too bad and I think I've noticed a difference in my body already. So today I went to do it (last did it Saturday).....and i just couldn't. Couldn't even get through the warm up. The jumping jacks...well managed 2 I think and then collapsed. Gave up 5 mins in and can hardly walk now! Feel really despondent! Is this normal and what can I do? TIA!

I'm a LOT bigger and heavier than you and had to do the modified version to begin with... My thighs were dying from the squats after the first couple of days, but I didn't experience the knackeredness you're talking about 10 days in... Have you moved up to Level 2 yet? That could be why, or maybe you're about to go down with something (sorry!) and the other symptoms haven't presented yet?

Hope someone else can offer more constructive advice!

The shred kills everyone to start off with - the first two days you feel like you can barely walk or loweer yourself onto the toilet. This is nomal!!

If you are struggling to get through the session take a few breathers - she says not to - butin my experience it's better to do that & finish the DVD than to give up.

Just do what you can & you'll soon build up to doing the whole thing - remember everyone is different.
