Measuring Yourself - How do you stay consistent?

I feel really stupid - but when using a tape measure to measure myself, is it only me that finds it really hard to stay consistent? When you're measuring flab, then a tiny bit more pressure here can make half an inch difference? I know it's like cheating on the scales, but I don't know how to do it accurately? For eg, I KNOW I've put on weight over Christmas, but can't really see any inch gain. But I know I'm probably kidding myself!?

  1. Use your clothes as a guide, do they feel that little bit tighter.
  2. Measure yourself at the same time. I prefer first thing in the morning.
  3. There are always going to be tiny fluctuations so don't worry about a bit more pressure here or there.
  4. Don't over measure either!
  5. I'd recommend the flabelos whole body vibration machines. I lost 7" by using them for a month.

Yup. My clothes feel tighter! That's how I know the measurements should be bigger and I am subconsciously a Big Fat Cheat. Thanks for the tips. Would love to have a go on those machines.
