Long - sorry!
Ok, am determined to finally do something about my weight and to have lost a considerable amount by the time the better weather comes (although that could be any time from March - September!)
I have almost half my body weight to lose in total and am set on doing something about it this time. Have started with a personal trainer once a week for an hour but also want to go to a slimming club as I really need the support of classes and the discipline of the weekly weigh in. My dilemma - I dont't know which one to choose Weight Watchers, Slimming World, Scottish Slimmers and Rosemary Conley all run close to home/work and I'm not sure which would suit me best. Any ideas? I need meal idea, have a picky familybut don't want to end up cooking 2 meals and I HATE having to weigh things out. I'm a comfort eater and am a nibbler, especially when I'm bored.
Any one have a preffered option and how did it work for you?

Don't know about diet clubs as feel they are more about guilt tripping you into weight loss with weekly weigh-ins but I can recommend getting hold of Paul McKennas I Can Make You Thin CD and book. I lost 3lbs the first week of listening to it and despite having several large tupperware boxes full of biscuits in the kitchen I am not tempted to go through and eat them all.
Great that you are motivated to have a trainer etc - try something fun as well like Zumba, very addictive and you can feel the difference (I've not had a class for 4wks now due to weather etc and put weight back on, can't wait to get back to it).
Good luck whatever route you take.
