I should have started back on my healthy eating plan thing today but I can't seem to find the motivation.

I've been browsing the net and have come across the following tips that I'm going to try;

Buy a bracelet or ring as a specific constant reminder to eat healthily (sounds a bit mad but I quite like that idea as I sometimes tend to eat mindlessly!)

Hang something you want to wear in one size down somewhere where you'll see it everyday

Track your food and weightloss

Set realistic goals and rewards

I try an use my bad habits to my advantage. I have a short attention span, so I keep my goals short term, and I am more likely to meet them. It is a lot easier for me to face a day of eating well, then a lifetime of no cheesecake! Grin
Also, I am really pissed at an ex-friend. Since we have stopped hanging out, she has really workred hard to get back into shape and it shows.EnvyI have handled a lot of other issues during that time, including quitting smoking, but I have really gotten out of shape. I have been comfort eating, and drinking, and it shows too. Now each time I go to eat something I really shouldn't, I try to ask myself, "If she were here watching me, would I eat this?" I can be a petty, jealous bitch, but I am trying to harness it for good. Smile
