I've seen a job I'm interested in, which is interviewing people who are overweight about their physical activities and what would encourage them to take up more exercise.
Although I'm obese I do go to the gym regularly and do my best to stick to a healthy diet. Do you think I would pass an interview for this type of job? I'm worried that any interviewer would take one look at me and think that I give off the wrong message. WWYU? (I've also posted this in the MN employment section]

well I don't know, they might look at you and think 'she will be able to relate to overweight people, she will show them that exercise isn't just for people with perfect bodies.'
Because the fact is some people are put off going to the gym or swimming pool by the thought people will be looking at them and judging.
It is definitely worth a try especially if you are good at selling yourself.
good luck.

Sethstarkadder - Trouble is that I'm not great at selling myself but you've hit the nail on the head as it took great courage for me to sign up for the gym. I love going now and haven't noticed anybody being judgemental
