Hi! My plan is to (try to) lose some weight for Christmas. No faddy diets, just better choices and less food!
Would love for some company and mutual motivation!

"Im having to drag myself away from the scales as i want to hop on every day!"

I know the temptation! If it's a problem, what about putting the scales somewhere really inaccessible, or getting rid of them altogether?

I don't have scales and only weigh myself on the machine at Boots once a week. It's slightly out of my way to go there and besides it costs 50p so that stops me going any more often! Last time I was on a diet I used to only weigh myself at a relative's house, and I used to visit him about once a week - obviously I'd be too embarrassed to turn up on his doorstep every single day just because I wanted to weigh myself!

Hi all!

Well, I am proud of the fact that I went to the gym last night. I wasn't planning to but I knew that if I didn't go, I'd feel worse (guilty etc). So, I went!

I'm always glad that I've made myself go because inevitably I sleep better and feel more healthy. Is anyone else exercising?

Suzie, I've been doing quite well with not eating later in the evening. It hasn't worked every night but when I feel that I simply have to have something, I force myself to eat a big apple!

Going to try to maintain focus over the weekend. (Someone needs to remind me that I said that.....!Wink )
