Can anyone recommend a dietcook book suitable for type 2 diabetes?

I am bored of my cook books but need to lose weight too. I have an Anthony worrall Thompson low gi one and some recipes are ok but some of the recipes don't work or don't taste that great. I don't want one with too many hard to find ingredients either. It would be great if my kids like them too but they are annoyingly fussy in an unpredictable way so it's not so important. I want one too with mainly main courses. I was looking through a couple of old diet cook books and they all have huge sections on starters and puddings which I never use.

So any suggestions would be great
thanks
