Weight watchers, surviving xmas

I started weight watchers last month but I?m not going to the meeting or joined on line, I?m just following the books from when I did it before, so its not the new pro points.
I have so far lost 17lb?s and I?m really proud of myself but I don?t want to ruin it by stuffing my face at xmas. I am therefore, wondering if anyone else is in the same position as me and wants to start sharing tips with each other for surviving the festive season.

I don?t think you have to be on weight watchers though to share advice about trying not to stuff your face over xmas, any advice welcome.

How about just allowing yourself a couple of days of over indulgence over the festive period? Christmas Day, say and Boxing Day or Christmas Day and NYE. Then get straight back on it again.

Don't buy a general box of chocs etc in for the family to eat, instead wrap an individual box for each family member. You won't dip in if they actually "belong" to someone else.

HTH. Good Luck!

Agree with sweetness. I've just started ww last week and lost 6.5lb which has really motivated me to keep losing and definitely not put on over Christmas. I'm allowing myslef Christmas Day and Boxing day to eat what I like then back on it with another day off on New Years eve, I will be very careful inbetween and save a couple of points a day to make sure I don't blow it.

Good luck.
