Going to dump my extra weight through good old fashioned healthy eating and exercise

I have around 1 stone to get rid of.

I plan on doing this by eating well with good healthy filling meals THREE TIMES A DAY. no snacks!!!!!!

i don't really want to calorie count or cut out any food groups as I want to re-establish a healthy eating pattern that the dcs and I can carry on with long term.

so basic rules for me are:

don't eat crap
eat only three times a day
all meals to be nutritious and enjoyed.

I will be posting what I have eaten each day.

feel free to join. healthy/delicious recipes welcomed!!!

Just wanted to wish you luck with this and say do stick with it.

I have lost a stone simply by eating less and exercising more, but it has taken me since the middle of August; and I want to lose another half stone. DH has lost over two stone, but he is much more into the excercise part of it than I am.

I totally agree with you about not skipping meals, and drinking plenty of water is also vital. We really haven't felt like we have been on a diet at all.

Yesterday
Lunch - chip butty (1 slice bread, 10 chips)
Dinner - tuna pasta bake

No snacks no fizzy drinks

Today
Lunch - ham salad sandwich
Dinner - carbonara, 1 slice garlic bread

If i want a snack i have stocked up on fruit some of it tinned so wont go off :o

Also would a small portion of jelly be bad? Hmm

forgot to weigh myself so will do it next time i go tesco whenever that may be

Recipe for tuna pasta bake;

pasta
tuna
tinned cambells condensed mushroom soup
boiled egg
onion
can garnigh with cheese if you like then bake in the oven :0

Yesterday

Lunch - ham salad sandwich
Dinner - ham salad sandwich

no fizzy drinks no snacks, wasnt feeling myself hence only sandwiches and fell asleep by 8pm

Today

Lunch - ham salad sandwich lol
dinner - spaghetti bolognase

treated myself to a packet of crisps too Blush
