Okay, so I know there are far more important things in life to worry about, but when I got on the scales this morning I was so pissed off that the last few weeks spent dieting and exercising have resulted in absobloodylutely nothing. In fact, I have put on 4 pounds since the start of September! How can this be right? I have been to the gym 4 times in the last week - surely that's got to count for something! I can see that I have lost inches, so should I just focus on that and the fact that my clothes are looser? It's just demoralising to step on the scales and not see the needle stopping at the right number!
