Celebrity Slim

Hi, just wondering if anyone has tried this and had any results? I bought myself a heap of meal replacements as I'm too lazy to cook all those special recipes when I got to cook for my family too. I got some slim fast and own brand ones and bought some celebrity slim off the Internet.

hi yes i have tried this, just a few weeks ago actually, found they were v.easy to stick to on the days I was motivated but when at a low point I just had no resistance not to pick at left overs etc. Good luck though

A friend of mine used celebrity slim and had some amazing results. I've also held back from meal replacements as I was worried about just eating loads in between the shakes anyway and not losing weight. But I think it could fit in well with my life now. I've also never been serious enough about losing weight to follow a diet before but now it's definitely time!

Thanks peacenow and joslimmer, good to hear about people who've actually had some success. There's just soooo many products out there and I'm sure lots are a waste of time. Anyways I tried a few of the bars I bought but none were great. Just waiting for my starter pack of celeb slim to arrive so desperate to get going and jump on those scales without wincing!

You're welcome lushlady. I'm a few days in and finding celeb slim pretty good so far. I didn't realise you could have snacks between the meals which is great as there's really no time to be hungry and you end up eating lots of smaller meals each day which seems to make more sense.

I tried celebrity slim a while ago but wasn't in the right frame of mind for any diet but I've just gone back on it and I think it's great. It's so easy and it seems to actually work and just do what it says with no hidden jargon.

Update on celebrity slim. I'm sticking to it really well and have lost almost a stone now. Feeling really good and I'm finding it so easy to follow and not stray too far into the land of naughty treats!!

Well done everyone, it sounds like you are all doing really well with celebrity slim. I stumbled on this forum and I am also doing celebrity slim so nice to find other people having success. I am thrilled to bits with this diet and have lost so much weight already.

bunjies · 09/03/2011 13:24

Just started this on Saturday and have lost 6lbs already. However, I want to lose at least 3 stone so this is very early days.

So far I have been having a shake for breakfast and dinner and either chicken & veg or spanish omlette for lunch. Snacks include 20g cheddar or a square of 85% dark chocolate. I am also drinking 1.5l of water plus a couple of mugs of peppermint tea a day.

I don't know how long I'm going to last but so far I've been able to stick to it. If the weight loss continues then that will be a great motivator. My problems always start when I hit a plateau.

Anyone else still doing this or just started?

Hi I am on day 2. Have only bought the shakes and having fruit for snacks & healthy meal. It is expensive so I am trying it for 2 weeks to see how I get on. Been on their website & some people have had amazing results. Also joined the gym today so hoping to see some results soon! I have at least 2.5st to lose to get back into my old clothes - so far so good. The only thing I am finding difficult is cooking for the children & not picking at their food/leftovers Smile

Hi ohnelly.

Yes, it is very expensive. I've bought shakes for a fortnight too and then will reassess.

Now that you've been doing it for a couple of days how are you finding it? I'm finding the mornings hard, in particular the time between getting to work and lunch time. I think the problem is that I am having a shake at around 7am before I leave and don't have lunch til about 12.30pm. I do have a piece of chesse at around 10am but am still feeling hungry. I probably ought to have the shake once I've got to work but don't want to have to bring it in where everyone can see IYSWIM. Once I've had my lunch then I am ok for the rest of the day.

Anyway, tomorrow is my week 1 weigh in so hopefully it won't have gone up!

Hi I find it harder in the afternoon - I am trying to keep myself busy & out of the house as much as possible! I tried a soup yesterday for lunch, which was horrible and definately left me hungrier in the afternoon than the shakes do. I am sticking to the shakes for now.
My week one weigh in is on tues so I will report back! Are you still having wine at the weekend? It says were allowed a glass a day so I thought I would save them for the weekend and have a few then instead Smile Wine
Let me know how you get on in your weigh in - have you visited their website? Its quite good, lots of recipies & before & after photos
