Hi,

I've recently lost some weight but still have a stone and a half to lose. Can anyone reccomend a good diet plan for me to follow. I seem to do well on strict regimented diets.

I've recently started my own blog called 'How I changed my life in a year'. I'm a single mum in desperate need of a life overhaul. Feel free to have a look (when you get a spare moment)

Well done so far desperatehousewife32. I lost my stone of mummy tummy on Closerdiet.com, highly recommend it.

Look forward to looking at your blog when I get a mo, sounds interesting.

i used the shape plan in Top Sante magazine and lost just over a stone in 2 months. Stalled now but my own fault for coming off plan. Just joined the "lose a stone for xmas" thread, there are lots of suggestions on there.

I've lost 3 stone this year and cannot understand why people seek out contrived diets when it is a simple question of eating less and exercising more. I don't actually find it easy, but the maths certainly is!
I'm only 5'3" and quite slight under the podge so I eat 1250 calories a day, 200 for breakfast ( cereal and milk, egg on toast, yoghurt prunes and muesli etc etc.) Lunch is 300 calories of rice or corn cakes, low fat humous or some quornslices or cottage cheese, a big box of salad and an apple. In the evenings I have a small plate of whatever my family is eating with extra veg or salad and less rice/pasta/potato. Fruit or yog for pudding. Combined with going running x 3, 2 x spin class, 1 x yoga class and a step class theis = 21b per week off for me, so most weeks have lost 1lb or more even if I've lapsed a bit at weekends.

When I've lost weight before I've not been that impressed with the slim me but with all this exercise I'm much more toned and showing off a lot of leg for the party season for the first time in years.

Personally I find it much easier to diet if I've created the eating plan myself to take my own eating patterns into account. I tend to lapse with straight after work pigging out so always put a box of salad ready, or have 1/2 tin of soup if all else fails. Good luck!
