Would you smash a Boots weight machine that said you'd shrunk 1.5inches?

I very nearly did.
The exact same machine that measured me at 5ft3, 74kg, BMI 28 three months ago has today measured me at 5ft1.5, 69.7kg, BMI 28.3.
I was measured at gym a month ago at 5ft3, 72.5kg. I can't win!
I would go by the gym machine but they've moved it recently because of the flood so everybody is weighing in at weird amounts.
I know it makes no difference - in the final analysis I am still fat and there is work to do. My only consolation is that the tape measure and my jeans aren't lying and I have definitely lost 6 inches round the waist.
Moan over, off to eat my wholemeal roll with mackerel - it's bread day!

Oh Spring Lamb! I think you need congratulating in several counts. First, you managed not to smash the weight machine and thus avoided being arrested and cautions, so big claps for you for exercising such incredible self control!
Secondly, congrats on losing so much weight. You have done brilliantly, so please just stick two fingers up at the weight machine. Big claps again!
Thirdly, and finally, you have really made me laugh with this post. So thanks so much for that.
If it helps, I am currently gaining around 6" a week, however, I am almost 9 months pregnant now! Just hope that I can lose the baby weight as successfully as you are losing your weight.
Well done and keep up the good work.
