Doing WW and eating curries!

I'm 2 weeks into doing WW (for the third time, both previosu times have been succesful, once to lose weight as fat (lost 3 stone), then second time to lose weight for wedding (lost further 1.5 stone) - but now trying to lose 2 stone gained through two pregnancies) and off for a curry with friends this weekend. I know curries are basically no-go on WW, but I have no option! So what should I go for? I dont really like rice, so would normall always have naan. Should I really not have any?? I know I shouldnt have creamy dish - so what chicken medium dish should I have? Sory of accept I may go over my points value for that day (have always thought if I stick rigidly for 6 days a week, have been OK to go over one day a week) but I dont want to totally blow out. Any tips gratefully received!

Anything without a sauce would be best like chicken tikka. If you want sauce you could ask for it separate and only use half. I think chappattis are better than naan but not sure on WW.

I realise I'm a bit late to this thread (Hope you had a good time!) but just wanted to suggest chicken Shashlish for you as an alternative to a sauce dish.

It's a mix of marinated chicken, onion and peppers (Sometimes there are tomatoes and mushrooms depending on the restaurant) cooked over charcoal. It's not dry like tandoori chicken but if you really feel the need to have a sauce then go for chick pea dahl.

You could have the chicken shashlik for 6 points, half a portion of rice for 3 and a few spoonfuls of the dahl for 2. Poppadoms are just 1.5 points each compared to 8 for a plain naan.

Chicken shashlik is often on the starter menu but not the main course one. I always ask at the start of the meal if I could have a main course sized chicken shashlik and have never been refused.

I don't know about ww as I'm more familiar with Slimming World. But there are considerably less syns if you have a lamb rogan josh than most other curries. It's made with yoghurt rather that than coconut milk so it's less calories.
Just as tasty and if you have it with plain rice it shouldn't be too bad?
