Changing shape after pregnancy - did you go back to normal?

DC3 is 2.5 weeks old. I know it is too soon to be thinking about this but am rather confused as to what has happened to my body shape.

I had hyperemesis followed by continued sickness until I gave birth meaning that now I am 1.5 stone lighter than when I got pregnant. However none of my pre pregnancy trousers or jeans are close to fitting.

I was a size 14 before pregnancy and now can just fit into size 16 jeans. I cant remember this happening with the other two - I just went back into my clothes once I had lost the weight.

So did your shape change dramatically or is it too soon - will it somehow change back again Confused

At 2.5 weeks you'll still have a broad pelvis and the fat laid down for breastfeeding. I was back in all my old clothes by about 5 months, in fact my legs were skinnier. But my shape is different. I used to have a narrow waist which is now an inch or so bigger and my tummy is looser and more flabby.
