I'm thinking about doing it as i've tried Atkins however really missed fruit and wasn't sure about the fat intake however I've been looking at Scarsdale and it seems a lot healthier.

Has anyone tried it and have you kept the weight off?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I tried this earlier this year and lost over 20lbs (over two ten day periods). It was hard to find a two week period without social events which meant I could stick exactly to the diet. I did cheat once and found that the weight loss really slowed down over the following days.

Since then I have put a few pounds back on, but blame that on a decadent summer! As I still have more to loose I have started again, but am finding it a bit more painful this time.

Overall, I think that this is a great way to start as you do get results quickly, but is not a long term solution.

I tried it a few years back and lost about three stone or so in total. I kept it off until my first pregnancy and miscarriage when I comfort ate. I did a couple of two-week stints earlier this year and it was going quite well but then I got pregnant again
