Detox Program?

Can anyone recommend a detox program for me please? I've reached the stage where I think in recent weeks (months even) I've been eating and drinking far too much and I'd really like to have a good old clear out before starting a sensible eating regime.

FYI I'm vegetarian and it needs to be relatively easy to prepare as I tend to give up at the first hurdle. If it's all easy to prepare I'm more likely to stick to it.

I was going to say Jason Vale's 7 day juice diet. I felt amazing by day 4. It is a faff though preparing the veg/fruit etc and then having to prepare food for the kids etc.

You could also cut out caffeine, start the day with hot water and lemon. Body brushing is also good to eliminate toxins from the body.

Drink at least 2 litres of water a day.

Cut out the booze.

Exercise.

Thank you - I'm going to go and research the Jason Vale thing.

Logically I know I could do this myself, cutting out the bad stuff like you say (caffeine, alcohol, chocolate etc) and increase the good stuff - water, fresh fruit and veg. It's just easier to have someone tell me what to eat and drink.

(That and I know I'm addicted to caffeine so that'll be the hardest part!)

Make sure you cut out the caffeine slowly as you can get the worst headache ever!

I know what you mean about following a plan. I would love to go to a retreat that is a detox but its quite expensive.
