Is it that free food you can eat as much as you like? If thats the case can you tell me a few of the free foods?

I want to loose about 8lbs but struggling...

What are the banned or limited foods?

Might give it a try, would be interested to know others success... Smile

Hi, have just started sw, as far as i know free foods include all fruit & veg as well as fat free yogs, cottage cheese & quark. Otherwise free foods depend on which plan you are following - let me know if you'd like more info. I want to lose at least a stone & thought sw woud help

How much is it to go to the club?

I found this sample menu

sounds too good to be true, and looks like masses of food... Is this correct?

I am currently 9.6 stone and want to be just under 9 stone, i'm not sure if I could get slim by eating all this food on the menu, but if it works i'm in... Grin

I've been constantly hungry for the last few days so this diet is making my mouth water... Grin

Have a look at the website www.slimming-world.co.uk, they have sample menus, recipe index etc.
If you go to group I think they ask that you have at least half a stone or more to lose, but you can set your own target weight to aim for.
I used to go and lost 3 and a half stone, and am considering rejoining this week to get rid of the last of my baby weight.

why don't you try the sample menu & see how it goes - I lost 5 stone with SW - so cannot comment on how it works if you just need to lose 8-9 lbs.

have you thought about exercising?

Slimming World is really good. It's all about food optimising.

I generally follow the green plan because I can live without meat. A third of your food intake needs to be superfree foods, which is basically fruit and veg. The other two thirds are free foods - I eat a lot of pasta, rice, fat free yoghurts, potatoes. Then you have 'healthy extras' to ensure you eat enough calcium and fibre. On top of that you can have between 5and 15 syns a day.

The biggest difference to my diet is that I no longer eat bread.
